Exterior lamp in a vehicle
DRIVE
March 2, 2005
The externally-mounted light may be supported on an arm bolted to the vehicle bodywork. The light has lenses (4a-c) at the end and at the sides of a housing (2) surrounding a transparent bulb (3a- c), which plugs into a socket in base. The bulb defines a sealed inner chamber (5) containing the lamp (6). The lamp is mounted on a plug (20) which can fit into a channel (16) with electrical contacts (18).
