Installation of compressed air production for a vehicle and method of operating the same

Separated into control groups (48,49), consumer circuits (I-V) with partly varied pressure levels link to a compressed air acquisition unit. A compressor (4) is connected according to each air consumption in single consumer circuits by a signal generated by control electronics (29) between idling and load phases via a pressure control unit (13) and an associated outlet valve. An independent claim is also included for a compressed air preparation device for a motor vehicle's compressed air acquisition unit with a compressor.
