Actuator assembly and actuator control system

The actuator unit (12) includes a receiver (14) for receiving wirelessly transmitted data. The receiver is arranged on a circuit board of the actuator unit, and may be a combined transmitter/receiver. The actuator unit includes an energy store (24) in the form of a rechargeable battery or capacitor connected to the vehicle power supply line. An independent claim is included for an actuator control system.
