The foamed part is connected at least partly to the body by a plastic welding layer(13). The foamed part(12) is 2-5mm thick and may either completely enclose the body or partly enclose it in the form of a half shell. Independent claims are included for: a) a process for manufacturing the air guide in which: i) a tubular parison is introduced into an open blowing tool; ii) a flat foamed part is introduced between the parison and a tool wall; iii) the tool is closed and the parison inflated to form the body(2) and simultaneously welded onto the foamed part; b) the process equipment which includes a blowing tool and a manipulator for placing the flat foamed part between parison and tool wall.",
