Low pressure turbine of a turbomachine

DRIVE February 9, 2005
Source
The turbine has an antifriction bearing (30) arranged on a low pressure shaft (28) for supporting high pressure journal (26) on which a rotor of high pressure turbine (10) is fixed. Another antifriction bearing (32) is placed on downstream of a low pressure journal (20) of the former bearing to center the journal (20) with respect to an exhaust case (14). A spline system (34) drives the shaft by the journal (20).
