Ground conveyor having an electric drive and a fuel cell system and method of operating a ground conveyor

A frame (2) supports the elements of an industrial truck (1) like a steerable front axle (3), a rear axle (4) with electrical drive motors, a trailer device (5), a load-bearing platform (6) and a device for controlling electrical functions. Between the axles and underneath the load-bearing platform there is a fuel cell system (8) with a fuel cell unit (9) and control electronics (10). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an industrial truck with an electrical drive mechanism and a fuel cell system.
