Device for securing loads and luggage in a vehicle

The load restrain for a motor vehicle boot has a floor panel (1,2) formed with perorations (3) to receive inserts (4,5) which extend upwardly to hold the load in place. The inserts are retained by plug in connections (7) and include holders (5) to receive restraints. Each holder can receive multiple connections. the floor panels extend parallel to the plane of the boot floor.
