Driver assistance system and method for a vehicle

Operating method for a vehicle driver assistance system that has a parking aid operating mode and an adaptive cruise control (ACC) operating mode, whereby in an operating state of the ACC mode an indicating state signal is used in the parking assistance mode. When the ACC mode is active or activated parking assistance mode is ended and or prevented. An independent claim is made for a driver assistance device that has control arrangements for both parking assistance and ACC systems.
