Method for controlling compression ignition internal combustion engine
DRIVE
December 29, 2004
The method involves introducing and compressing a gas containing oxygen and a fuel capable of being self-ignited under compression into a cylinder. A part of an ignition improver placed in the fuel is changed into a material having reduced ignitability improvement capability to reduce fuel ignitability as a demand load of an engine (1) increases. The fuel with reduced ignitability is supplied to the engine.
