A piezoelectric device comprises a piezoelectric resonator element (10); a lead wire (15A, 15B, 16A, 16B) holding the piezoelectric resonator element (10), one end portion of the lead wire being connected to the piezoelectric resonator element (10); and a support substrate (22) supporting the lead wire (15A, 15B, 16A, 16B), wherein the other end portion of the lead wire (15A, 15B, 16A, 16B) is affixed to a surface of the support substrate (22) that faces away from the resonator element (10).
