Gas generating module

The gas created in the generator (16) in the case of an impact is guided through openings (30) in the generator housing (18) into the diffuser (20) fitted with a filter (32) positioned along the inner surface. The diffuser (20) is provided with openings positioned above the upper edge of the filter (32). The gas is moved along the inner surface of the diffuser (20) before it is released through the openings, resulting in cooling down of the substance and a separation of gaseous matter and solid particles which are kept inside the filter (32).
