The gas turbine, especially an aviation jet engine (10), has at least one ancillary unit (14) fastened to it and receiving signals from at least one sub-unit of the gas turbine. The ancillary unit has a base element (21) and a housing element (22), with the interface point for connecting to the turbine's sub-unit integrated in the base element. A signal processing device is integrated in the housing element, and the housing element is detachably connected to the gas turbine via the base element. The ancillary unit may be governor or fuel control chassis. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an ancillary unit for especially an aviation jet engine; and (b) a governor for an aviation jet engine.
