Vehicle seat backrest

The seat backrest (1) is provided with headrest reception sleeves for location and guidance of headrest support rod ends (4.1,4.2), with cooperating covers (2.1,3.1) fitting over the parts of the headrest support rod reception sleeves projecting from the body of the backrest, one of which is provided with an integral coat hook (2.3). An independent claim for a cover for a headrest support rod reception sleeve in an automobile passenger seat is also included.
