Connection element for a hinged connection of a wiper blade with a wiper arm

The pin or pair of trunnions (42) passes through bores in a clip (26), made of folded sheet metal. Hooked portions of the clip (32) engage with the edges of a flexible spring strip (16) which carries the wiper blade (18). An adapter (66) fits over the spring clip and includes cover plates (84) which hide the ends of the trunnions. An inverted U-section holder (50) is formed at the end of the wiper arm (10), and has undercut grooves (57) in its sides, forming hooks.
