The method involves determining vacuum pressure value in a vacuum chamber (16), and comparing the value to a lower threshold value. Cut of power supply to power consumers (36) is controlled when the vacuum pressure in the vacuum chamber is lower than the lower threshold. Re-establishment of the power supply to the consumers is controlled when the vacuum pressure is higher than an upper threshold.
