Cylinder head gasket

Each combustion chamber opening (10,12,14,16) is surrounded by a base body (BB) (50) with a circular shape and the shape of a protruding circular ridge on the side of a cylinder head seal. The BB is molded as a single piece with a metal gasket plate (D). Four base bodies verge into each other in the gasket plate's ridge-like areas between the combustion chamber openings.
