Castor

The castor has a fork (2) connected to a supporting unit (11) that is fixed to an object to be supported by the castor. An adjustable locking unit is connected to the fork for locking the fork and a running wheel (1) against rotation about an axis of rotation. One end of the locking unit is moved into engagement with the supporting unit to lock the wheel and the fork against rotation about the axis of rotation.
