Glass run for motor vehicle

The run has outside and inside seal lips extended into an interior space defined by outside, inside and bottom walls (34, 36, 38). An opening-side groove is provided along an inner surface of the outside wall at a connecting portion. The groove is arranged such that a terminal end of the outside seal lip contacts the surface, when the outside seal lip is pressed by a door glass supported by a door frame.
