Axle suspension

DRIVE December 1, 2004
Source
The suspension has a bearing bracket (3) with two side plates (11, 12) on each side of a vehicle, where the plates are fixed on a chassis. A bearing arm extends in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is hinged to the bracket by a hinge bolt (6). A strut component (33) connected to the bracket absorbs transverse forces. The component extends from the bracket obliquely upwards in a transverse direction to the chassis. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle provided with an axle suspension.
