The cell has solid oxide fuel cell portions, each including an electrode formed on a full periphery of a cylindrical porous metal substrate (10) and a solid electrolytic layer formed on a full periphery of the electrode. Each cell portion has another electrode formed on a full periphery of the electrolytic layer. A power collecting section (12) is connected at a substrate end to collect power from the former electrode. An independent claim is also included for a solid oxide fuel cell power generator including a metal casing and a solid fuel cell assembly.
