Control system of self propellered industrial machine

The machine has an operator presence detection switch (22) provided to generate an operator presence or absence signal relating to the operator on a seat (4) arranged on a self propellered vehicle body (1). A control unit (10) sets the transmission of presence signal to a neutral state in response to the operator absence signal. A velocity sensor (24) is provided to detect a velocity of the vehicle body. An independent claim is also included for a control method in a self propellered industrial machine.
