The interior light has at least one housing (3) with a light output opening containing a light source and a current feed device for supplying the light source with electrical energy. The housing with the light source forms at least one standalone light module (1) that can be reversibly connected at least one stationary holder (12). The holder and module have contacts (7,9) that connect when the module is connected to the holder.
