Vehicle with a disc braking system and method

A vehicle with a disc brake system comprises a brake disc (3) with an actuator (4) which applies the brake carrier to the disc and is activated by a signal from a control unit (8) according to vehicle condition and parameters. A gap adjuster (7) between the actuator and brake carrier is operated by a control signal independently of the actuator. An independent claim is also included for an operating process for the above.
