Battery case

The battery casing (2) has an elongated opening provided in one flange (6) of the casing for reception of a carrying handle element (7) having an elongate grip section (8) of greater size than the flange opening, provided with a loop section (9) at one end fitted through the flange opening for cooperating with a locking element provided by a projection (10) of the battery casing below the flange opening.
