Wheel assembly, in particular for wheeled waste container

The assembly (1) has a wheel spindle (3) with two annular grooves, and a wheel (2) with a hub (4). An end of the spindle is engaged in a housing (8) defined by the hub. Two retention units engaged in the respective grooves, have elastically deformable legs. The legs are applied on a bearing surface (20) of the housing, when the spindle is engaged in the housing, in order to immobilize the wheel on the spindle. An independent claim is also included for a mobile waste container for waste collection.
