Fabric for airbags and seatbelts with airbags

The inflatable woven airbag or air belt has blow-out areas (X) in at least one fabric layer (O,U), and the fabric in the blow-out areas has a lower tear resistance than the rest of the fabric of the airbag or air belt. The blow-out regions are located preferably in the edge section of the fabric layer. The first warp threads of the blow-out regions have a lower titer than the remaining threads.
