Service provision to a vehicle entertainment and information device

This invention relates to a method in a vehicle entertainment and information processing device for providing services to a user. This invention further relates to a system comprising the vehicle entertainment and information processing device, at least one storage medium accessible by the device and at least one service provider accessible by the device via a wireless data link, to the device and to a data structure used on the storage medium. To provide a platform that enables dynamic service provision this invention detects a storage medium accessible by the device, detects services provided by the medium and a service provider, generates and displays a list of services available at the storage medium and the service provider and provides a user-selected service wherein service data are read from the storage medium and/or is transferred from the at least one service provider.
