Aircraft on-board display device for the displaying of information concerning surrounding traffic
DRIVE
November 3, 2004
The device has a CPU processing information received from external sources to determine path of its corresponding aircraft and other aircrafts detected by the sources. The CPU calculates position and speed relative to the detected aircrafts. The processed data are filtered by a filter (F) according to phase of flight of the corresponding aircraft, where phase of flight is indicated by a flight management system (FMS). A display control unit (2) receives instructions from the CPU and presents interface for permitting crew to effectuate appropriate adjustment.
