Rubber composition and tire thereof

Vehicle tires with reinforcement coatings and/or belt edge strips made of a sulfur-crosslinked mixture comprising 50-100 phr natural rubber (parts per 100 rubber), 45-100 phr silica and/or carbon black, 0.2-2 phr organic cobalt salt and 3.5-6 phr sulfur, which also contains 5-50 phr of a 5-40 wt% micro-dispersion of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene (BR) in cis-1,4-BR.
