Evaporated fuel processing device

The device has a resilient connector (36) for coupling the compacting plate (30) to the base (34) of a volume compensator (24). The resilient connector is formed in one piece with the compacting plate and base, and arranged such that the spring (32) of the volume compensator can be inserted between the base and compacting plate. The volume compensator is provided for compacting the adsorbent material (18) in a first adsorbent chamber (16) formed between the tank port (14) and atmospheric port (26) of an evaporative canister (10).
