"textContent": "Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell contains positive and negative electrodes containing a material that stores and releases lithium ions and a binder polymer, separator(s) for separating the positive and negative electrodes, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt and an organic solvent. Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell contains positive and negative electrodes containing a material that stores and releases lithium ions and a binder polymer, separator(s) for separating the positive and negative electrodes, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt and an organic solvent. The electrolyte contains a substances which oxidizes at the positive electrode at an electric cell voltage of 4.1-5.2V. The substance is subjected to an oxidation reaction at the positive electrode which is different to the lithium releasing reaction and generates a reduction reaction different from the storing reaction at the negative electrode. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a power source where the cells are connected multiply, in series and/or in parallel; (2) a method of charging the cell.",
