Pyrotechnical battery terminal

The battery pole termination separation element has a housing (1) containing a one-piece battery pole clamp (5) and a pyrotechnical device (14) with a pyrotechnic charge for driving a separation piston, having a separation element (7) for separation of the battery pole clamp at a given separation point (11). The battery pole clamp has 2 perpendicular clamp arms (15a,15b), projecting from the housing of the battery pole termination separation element, for connection to respective electrical devices, the separation point provided along the arm connected to the electrical device to be disconnected in an emergency situation.
