The trolley has braking units including friction shoes (10A, 10B), which are accommodated internally on respective wheels (4A, 4B) to block rotation of the wheels about an axis (X-X). A control unit has levers (16A, 16B) for respective shoes. The levers move respective shoes between rest and solicitation configurations, by activating articulated stems (20A, 28A, 28B, 26, 34A, 34B, 38A, 38B) with respect to a chassis (2). The shoes are in its blocking and separated positions when they are placed in rest and solicitation configurations, respectively.
