Snow chain for automotive vehicle

The snow chain consists of a ring (2) or similar on the inside of the tyre (3), a series of lozenge-shaped chain sections (4) that go over its tread, and an inner ring of chain or similar with a fastening (6) on the outside of the tyre. The fastening is in the form of a housing (7) on one end of the ring, containing a roller (9) for tensioning a strap (12) attached by a hook (13) to the other end.
