The airbag comprises a front panel (11) arranged to face a vehicle occupant and a rear panel (12) arranged to face a vehicle member. The inside of the airbag is divided into a first chamber (21) and second chambers (22) by a linear joint portion connecting the front panel (11) and the rear panel (12). The second chambers are provided at their inlets with a partition (15) extending in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the second chambers (22).",
