Selective access control method for motor vehicles
DRIVE
October 6, 2004
The procedure involves placing a memory in an initial state, when one user (9) quits a vehicle (1) by opening a door (5). Identifiers (6a, 6b) of another user (6, 6) remaining at an interior of the vehicle are detected and updated in the memory, when the door is closed. An access to the vehicle is authorized, only when an access system detects an authorized identifier (9a) different from the identifiers (6a, 6b).
