Process to display an image on a vehicle windshield and device therefor

The method involves capturing a real image from a scene of a route, and deforming the real image. The deformation of the image is done by extracting an interest zone of the image and expanding the interest zone according to two dimensions of the image. The image displayed by a display unit (4) is reflected by reflecting mirrors (5, 6). The reflected image is displayed on a windscreen (1). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle equipped with a windscreen.
