Lens for lighting and/or signalling device of vehicle headlight type

The glass (2) has an insert (3) made of a different material e.g. silicon, that is partially transparent to a part of an infra-red radiation from a thermal camera (5) in a headlight. The other parts of the glass are made of a standard material e.g. polymer, that is transparent to the visible radiation. The glass is coated with anti-blur sealing and mechanic protection sealing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method for manufacturing glass (b) an automobile with an illuminating and/or signaling device.
