A reservoir to reserve fluid for a vehicle comprises a tank (1) and two brackets (2,4) integrated with the tank to install the tank in the vehicle. An attaching portion (29,49) is arranged with each of the brackets (2,4) to be fixed to the vehicle. A connecting portion (25,45) is arranged with each of the brackets (2,4) to connect the attaching portion (29,49) to the tank (1). One of the connecting portion (25,45) has a notch (3) that is deformed or fractured so that the tank (1) can be moved for the vehicle to absorb force that acts to the tank when the tank receives force larger than a predetermined value. The attaching portion (29,49) has plural rib portions (24,44) that is deformed or fractured so that the tank (1) can be moved for the vehicle to absorb force that acts to the tank when the tank receives a force larger than a predetermined value.
