Tread pattern for a vehicle tire

The tire tread profile (1), for a vehicle pneumatic tire, has profile blocks (19,20) where each has a straight edge (22,23) defining the peripheral grooves (2-4). The profile blocks (19) in one row (13) have a corner (24) with an included angle (alpha ) and a concave side (27). The profile blocks (20) in the other row (14) have a corner (25) with an included angle (beta ) and a convex side (29). The corners and the concave/convex sides face each other.
