Armrest with integrated cup holder for motor vehicles

The fitting has an armrest (50) having an armrest surface and an integrated goblet holder disposed on faces opposing the armrest. The armrest is rotated from one position in which the surface is above the armrest towards another position in which the holder is above the surface. A console (10) defines a compartment accessible by a user through an orifice covered by a closing unit integrated with the console.
