Fuel cell and manufacturing method thereof

Fuel cell comprises a stack made from a single cell with an anode-electrolyte-cathode unit and a bipolar plate (14). The single cell comprises a metallic support structure (10) for the anode-electrolyte-cathode unit. An independent claim is also included for the production of a fuel cell comprising forming the support structure made from metallic wires (12) and applying the anode-electrolyte-cathode unit on the support structure. Preferably the support structure is arranged between the anode-electrolyte-cathode unit and the bipolar plate.
