Adjusting device for a front roof part of a vehicle

An adjuster for a motor vehicle forward roof part which moves it from a closed position in a receiver in the rear roof comprises a connection to a side sliding rail (6) adjustable on a support rail (5) and leading to a guide rail (4) on the rear roof. A motorized hydraulic cylinder drive (22) and a tension spring (30) controls the movement.
