The support element has at least one dynamic sealing region (9) and at least one static sealing region (8) and is provided with a centering region (12). The support element is connected to the engine housing cover via a bayonet fixing. The centering region is arranged in the plane of the bayonet fixing so that the dynamic sealing region is brought into contact with a shaft and the static sealing region is brought into contact with pre-determined pressure force with a corresponding section (3) of the engine housing cover.
