Method and system for controlling the temperature of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle

The method involves piloting heating and cooling units that heats and cools a drivers cabin to control a temperature of the cabin on a predetermined temperature. An electric power storage battery (26) is charged and discharged based on the heating and cooling units, for operating a thermal engine of a motor vehicle and the state of charge of the battery. An independent claim is also included for a system of controlling the temperature of the cabin of the motor vehicle.
