Sealing device with several transponders

DRIVE August 25, 2004
Source
The device has a transponder (30) placed in an upper part of a casing at a depth (P) larger than the height (H) of a stem (12). A locking pin has a transponder (40) laid out on an external periphery of the stem. Each transponder has a substrate (101) on which a microchip (102) and an antenna (103) are formed. The chip has a storage unit to store a unique identification code in one transponder, breakage of the other due to the seal being breached being remotely sensed by interrogation. An independent claim is also included for a system of control and follow-up of an object.
