Air spring for a pneumatically suspended vehicle axle and plunger piston for the air spring of a pneumatically suspended vehicle axle
DRIVE
August 25, 2004
A casing surface (7) of a trunk piston/plunger (TPP) (1) as well as a cross section of a cushion cylinder (CC) (8) rolled back onto it is non-circular with one longer radius (HT+HR) and one shorter radius (hT+hR). For fixing the CC, the TPP has a pressure-sealed restraint for one edge on the end of the CC. The restraint is non-circular with longer and shorter radii. An independent claim is also included for a trunk piston/plunger.
