For testing purposes, a control valve (106) is pressure released at a certain pressure rate request. The elapsed time for a certain pressure drop is used for adjusting the release time. The Valve Control System of the invention allows any pressure control system using valve state pulsing to modify airflow at an optimum and consistent range of operation thereby enhancing control accuracy and increasing the useable cycle life of any valve combination used.",
