Starting aid for a vehicle

The starting off aid has an operating device for carrying out a supported driving off procedure so that control signals can be generated by a controller for the automatic clutch and braking system for the desired driving off process in accordance with the driver's wishes. The operating device for carrying out the supported driving process is essentially formed by the vehicle's gas pedal.
