The rail (17,18) has a fixing portion (21) intended to come in contact with a corresponding zone of a motor vehicle structure, and a hook (24) temporarily integrated with the structure. The hook receives and temporarily maintains screws (23). The hook has a jack for overlapping the fixing portion and another jack for overlapping a sheet of the vehicle structure. The hook has an S shape and the jacks are opened in opposite directions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an assembly and process for mounting a guiding rail on a vehicle (b) an automobile vehicle.
